Privacy Policy
Effective 17 June 2026
Oneasylife (“Oneasylife”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, and how we comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using our website at https://www.oneasylife.com (the “Site”) and our services, you agree to this policy.
1. What personal information we collect
We may collect the following kinds of personal information:
- Business and contact details — your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, service areas and other information you provide when you sign up or request a page.
- Content you submit — descriptions of your services, pricing, photos, logos, licence and insurance details, and reviews.
- Enquiry information — information you provide when you contact us or submit a form.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and similar analytics data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
We generally do not collect sensitive information. If we ever need to, we will seek your consent first, unless we are otherwise permitted by law.
2. How we collect personal information
We collect personal information directly from you — for example, when you complete our onboarding or contact forms, email us, or otherwise interact with us. We may also collect information automatically when you use the Site, and occasionally from publicly available sources or third parties where you have consented or where the law permits.
3. Why we collect, hold and use your information
We use personal information to:
- create, build, publish and maintain your business page;
- list your business in our public directory;
- respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;
- process payments and manage your subscription;
- improve, personalise and secure our Site and services;
- send you service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out at any time); and
- comply with our legal obligations.
4. Publishing your business information
A core part of our service is publishing the business information you provide on a public web page and in our directory so that customers can find you. Information you ask us to include on your page — such as your business name, services, service areas, phone number, email and photos — will be publicly visible and may be indexed by search engines such as Google. Please only provide information you are happy to make public.
5. Disclosure of personal information
We may disclose personal information to:
- our trusted service providers (for example, hosting, payment processing, email delivery and analytics providers) who help us operate the Site and services;
- the public, where you have asked us to publish it (see section 4);
- government, regulatory or law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law; and
- a purchaser or successor in the event of a business sale or restructure.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your information consistently with the APPs.
7. Security of your information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Accessing and correcting your information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer at info@oneasylife.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Direct marketing
We may send you marketing communications about our services where permitted by law, including the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We will action opt-out requests promptly.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.
11. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
12. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the APPs or mishandled your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer at info@oneasylife.com. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
